Wage Range: $22.47 - $34.45 per hour

Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.

Job Summary:
Assists the Mammography Technologist in the performance of their outlined duties, will transport patients to and from the Women’s Imaging Center and will assist in various clerical functions as assigned.

Primary Duties:
1. Greets patients and assists them to and from the changing and procedure rooms, inside and outside the unit as needed.
2. Prepares various paperwork, checks and verifies orders and follows up with the referring provider or appropriate individuals as needed
3. Stocks and cleans patient changing and waiting rooms; cleans the stereo room as directed
4. Enters patient information and provider orders into the computer, with accuracy.
5. Assists patients in completing appropriate consent and admit forms.
6. Assists the mammography technician as needed.
7. Performs other duties as assigned

License, Certification, Education or Experience:

REQUIRED for the position:
* High School graduate or equivalent
* Direct patient contact for at least 6 months
* Knowledge of Radiology/Medical field
* Working knowledge of proper body mechanics

DESIRED for the position:
* Hospital or clinic patient experience
